We have been lucky to have some rare birds in our area to start this new year, most notably, the Snowy Owls. If we've learned anything over the year, no bird attracts a crowd quite like the Snowy Owl does. While most people have been respectful, there have been some reports of questionable behavior.
So, by way of reminder for everyone and for the benefit of those of you new to birding, the club maintains the HBC Code of Birding Ethics and Conduct.
We encourage everyone to read through this in advance of visiting these wonderful visitors in our area.
