Guidelines for All Field Trip Leaders
Please review and save this document for your reference when planning a field trip. It contains important information for planning and managing official HBC field trips. All trip leaders, both experienced and new, should review this document.

Liability Waiver
Please download and print a few copies for each field trip, in case participants arrive who have not registered online. Photograph any signed releases and send them to fieldtrip@hampshirebirdclub.org.

Photography Consent
Participants are required during registration to check yes or no if they are comfortable having their photo taken for promotional purposes (website, social media). If anyone has answered no, leaders should make it clear to all participants at the start of the trip that photos of their fellow attendees are not allowed. If anyone attends who has not pre-registered, leaders should confirm this question with them as well.

Field Trip Leader Training Workshop
This workshop from June 2024 was a first step for the HBC in streamlining the trip set up process for leaders, developing materials and methods for provide necessary information, and introducing new leaders to the experience. We encourage all experienced and new field trip leaders to view the video.
