Nature photographer Marjorie Melnick has photographed birds and wildlife on five continents in the past 18 months. Most recently, she visited Sri Lanka for 11 days in January. She plans to share some of her favorite experiences from these adventures.

Marjorie Melnick is an opera singer and now professor of voice at UMass and, whenever possible, a passionate hobby photographer. For years she focused primarily on macro-photography of our local insects (some club members may have seen her exhibition at Henion Bakery in Amherst a few years ago). Shortly before Covid, she bought her first long lens and fell in love with bird photography. More recently she began to travel to far ports and loves to share her experiences with friends through her photographs.
