October. Migration is winding down, winter is on the horizon. But there is still plenty of bird activity happening this month! Ashley Reservoir has an event at this time, so we are going to move this walk to the Silvio Conte Fort River Wildlife Refuge in Hadley, which also offers easy walking trails and will provide wide views  of fields, the sky, the beautiful foliage and, with any luck, a wide variety of birds! We will meet in the main parking lot for quick introductions before heading onto the trails.
