John Green is a longtime pillar of Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, the Hitchcock Center of the Environment, and other Valley nature-oriented organizations. HBC members know him as the guy in the middle of every Christmas Bird Count compilation (when we did them in person), whistling his impression of each species' vocalizations as we tallied our way down the list.
