Volunteer Opportunities at Fitzgerald Lake and The Hitchcock Center- THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH 2023

Bruce Hart and Dan Butterworth will share some of what is going on with two conservation groups: Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area (FLCA) in Northampton/Florence and the Hitchcock Center in Amherst. They will talk about volunteer opportunities that are offered at each location.

Bruce Hart will introduce FLCA  and the Broad Brook Coalition and share some of the area’s history and the details of what it offers to wildlife, as well as to its human and canine visitors. Dan will talk about some new initiatives at the Hitchcock Center and the ways in which people can become involved with the Center.
